About Gloucester Synchro

Who we are
The Gloucester Synchronized Swimming Club was founded over twenty-five years ago by Carolyn Krzywicki. Based in East Ottawa, it is currently one of the largest clubs in Ontario, offering a full range of competitive and recreational synchronized swimming programs to over 150 members. Our Head Coach, Lianna Jeffrey-Sottile, has been with the club since 1991. She leads a team of dedicated and successful coaches, many of whom swam with the club as competitive swimmers. The club’s administration is entirely run by parent volunteers.

What we offer
Gloucester Synchro provides both recreational and competitive synchro swimming opportunities. Swimmers as young as 6 years old may begin in our one-hour per week recreational program. Our competitive programs cater to various ages and ability levels, from novice swimmers right through to national-level athletes. Competitive swimmers may also choose to participate in duet, solo and combo events. In 2000 we proudly introduced our first Athlete with a Disability program.
